One of the UK T-Cross forum members took his car to the dealers to see if they could solve the problem, his post and their response is below. It would appear that VW don't have a solution and perhaps don't wish to admit it happens, just like the T-Roc kangaroo issues.I totally agree with you, it´s annyoing and switching off is not the object of the System.
As soon as I´ve got an appropriate answer from VW (just contacted), I´ll give Feedback.
'I have a T-cross 1.0 liter 115 engine that cuts out at slow speeds in 2nd gear, this is when I am driving up at incline or turning round a junction. I took the car in the car with the problem, and the technician agreed something was not right. A different technician worked on the car. On reading the car I was told to drive in a lower gear which would be only a 1.0 liter engine what do you expect.
The SEAT Arona website is thus complaining about this problem.
IT is a nice car but could not recommend a 1.0 liter engine'
