One of the UK T-Cross* forum members took his car to the dealers to see if they could solve the problem, his post and their response is below. It would appear that VW don't have a solution and perhaps don't wish to admit it happens, just like the T-Roc* kangaroo issues.I totally agree with you, it´s annyoing and switching off is not the object of the System.
As soon as I´ve got an appropriate answer from VW (just contacted), I´ll give Feedback.
'I have a T-cross 1.0 liter 115 engine that cuts out at slow speeds in 2nd gear, this is when I am driving up at incline or turning round a junction. I took the car in the car with the problem, and the technician agreed something was not right. A different technician worked on the car. On reading the car I was told to drive in a lower gear which would be only a 1.0 liter engine what do you expect.
The SEAT Arona website is thus complaining about this problem.
IT is a nice car but could not recommend a 1.0 liter engine'
